That would make a nice greeting card, eh.
It would.

Brakes replaced (worse case scenario and not just brake pads)...tires were the wrong size so had to reorder a larger size - seems my winter rims are a different size than my summer...also tire rods need replaced now too (bro-in-law had mentioned that "might" be the case so not a complete surprise but this is costing more than I have and I have the house insurance due in less than a month)

I find with some cars, you should probably just call them "breaks". And do you mean "tire rods" or "tie rods". I had to replace tie rods on one of my older cars, maybe my 2004 Civic. Never had to since.

Yes, tie rods - typo above. Up till now, other than tires and brakes, I haven't really had to do a lot with this car (2010) so I guess some of the parts are due for an upgrade.

I had to replace the rear brakes in our Rav a month or so ago. It was the whole thing too. Alas. Well, we're safer now anyway.

Just returned from the Lacombe art show and sale...l-o-n-g visit with a neighbour just outside the doors and then had a good look around - nice variety this year - oh to have a million dollars and unlimited wall space! I wasn't able to walk out empty-handed, but did manage to show some restraint :) On the left, art by Linda FInstad and the deer card on the right by Vicki Sullivan
