More lambish here in Southern Ontario. Showers tomorrow and chilly throughout but Spring-like. Apparently, the lions prefer the prairies.

We woke to see snow and the white stuff is still coming down. I haven't been outside but I guess about an inch or so at the moment. Prediction is for it to continue all day. Apparently other areas are getting battered.

Better than forecast anyhow. It's been mostly cloudy but the showers they were calling for never materialized, at least for me.

We have had showers all day. They are snow showers though. Not very much in total and that is a disappointment for the farmers and ranchers. Many are predicting drought conditions and remembering the Dirty 30's. Ironically, that hasn't prevented the big farms from ripping out the shelter belts so they can get more land cultivated.

It turned out to be a nice day today. We enjoyed two campfires with friends. Lots of laughter.

That is how many of us see this playing out. There is also a lack of habitat for animals and birds. In SK we also have drastic draining of crucial wetlands.
