Watched a good documentary about cats LAST night. My goodness I love their whiskery faces!

My Mom always said that cats can gauge by their whiskers if their bodies will fit through a hole. Almost true apparently.

Cat whiskers are the same length as the width of an average adult cat. Overweight cats get stuck in holes for this reason. (Because their whiskers don't grow to match the weight gain.)

Who knew?

Where was said documentary?

My Atwood was fat and she didn't get stuck in holes. She knew that the upstairs cat door was her width, but that the downstairs one (into Shelley's rooms) was too narrow.
