I didn't have a choice this year - snow tires died in the spring...that said, I do put a lot of miles on in the spring/summer/fall so better to have the two setsIt's a little hard on the winter tires, but I just don't put much mileage on the car, anyway, and everything - car, tires, etc., are on their 13 year old last legs. Minimal maintenance (oil, wiper blades and bulbs) until its death.
