She was here from roughly 8:30 to almost 1:00...we picked garden produce, she opened her presents, we played Mall Madness, we chopped onions (in the food processor) and froze 3 cups, we went through the LAST of LAST year's carrots (1 bag rotten 
) and shredded them so I can make pies, and we ate lunch

So...I used my brand new Kichenaid blender to make the pies and it worked great...then I decided to make a smoothie as the blender was out and now it won't work at all...all lights flashing and I did all the troubleshooting things I was supposed to do and it still won't work. Grrrrrrrrr

Still not working...phoned Customer Service and according to their records my model/serial number was purchased in 2015 so they were sure I bought it from a clearance sale or yard sale (nope, off the shelf, brand-new, at Home Hardware for regular price)...had me email my receipts and then I was to phone back...after putting me on hold for a VERY LONG time, they said I was telling the truth (duh!) and they are sending me a brand new blender (as mine is a discontinued model) to replace it...so they have no idea if it was purchased and returned to the store or just sat on the shelf too long....I told them I just want a working blender!...they were amazed I still had the box it came in (as I have to return the old blender to them) and I said I just bought it!
