Grrrrr...not even an 1/8 of an inch of rain :P But there is a little bit of water in the rain barrels so they won't blow away now

It was 33 C here about an hour ago. Filled off to 32. Sunny and very little wind. Too hot for me to want to work outside now. Put in 3 hours this morning until it got hot getting ready to do some planting.

Only 28 here, but too hot to work outside. Even a bit warm for a short shady walk with the dog.

Just invented a refreshing drink. 3 fresh raspberries (I'm actually going to throw them in the freezer, I think), some red wine, fill up the glass with ginger flavoured sparkling water.

LAST-er, watching Netflix and enjoying the evening breeze through my newly repaired dining room screen (no longer a couple of largish slits in the bottom, largely due to Atwood's weight leaning on it) without danger of excess bugs. I love these local Facebook communities where you can "find a guy to fix a screen" for moderate cost.

Also, there being no chance of any more cats until Lucy is gone (not that I want one right now, but I miss a cat in the house), I have found placement for my rather backlogged supply of litter and unopened moist food, also for the opened bags of (unexpired) dry food and treats (a friend who feeds ferals).

Enjoy! I should probably be outside moving rock as the weather is gorgeous but I need to recover from this morning's efforts.

Last after visiting a favourite Okanagan winery. It was a chilly 13 and they couldn't use the patio heaters because they'd kill the vines on the trellis/roof. We adapted and LASTed for a nice visit. View attachment 6451

The last photo reminds me of a message a psychic told me back in 2012 - she saw a clothesline with different types of lingerie which represented different stages in my life - Granny undies all the way to red lace :)

Maybe it was a sign you need to visit Dirty Laundry vineyards. :)
