Catching up on some reading...just finished @Mendalla's story "The Bat" - it was a good one

Read two more stories by @Mendalla...I had "The Empty Office" on my list of to-read but I discovered I had read it - and it had an interesting twist at the end...then I read the "Healer's Secret" - another good story but the ending kinda left me wondering what the rest of the story was.

Was asked to knit 2 headbands for a friend's client...first one is done! So long since I knitted that I had to look on Youtube for a quick refresher on how to cast off

Dishcloths are great for practicing cast-ons and bind-offs.

Ditto for numerous K and P variations.

They are...I just use other projects for that

I have/had a pretty dishcloth pattern that makes a star shaped dishcloth, that makes a nice Xmas present in glitter-flecked white, green or red. As I recall, it's a "short row tutorial"...
