Well, the hound and I went around the smallest possible block, and that's going to be "it" for a while, I think. She needs some serious walking re-training.

Yes, but it does indicate that I'm not as recovered as I'd like to be...but it's been 4 weeks, and they say it takes 6 weeks generally for solid new bone.

Every step is a progress and don't push yourself too soon...my fall wasn't as bad and 2.5 weeks later I'm still tender in spots (ie nose) and have vivid bruises....healing takes time

Maybe, but I just asked for one shift next week, and dollars get tight when I'm trying to live solely on my pension. The most I ever work is 3 5-hr shifts a week, and often just two, or shorter, 4-4 1/2 hr shifts.

Actually, 6 weeks is just the start of “knitting together“-” solid” bone, like it was before a fracture, takes a year.

I gather it has been snowy there but now it is melting. Here it is raining again. Over half of the surface in the back part of our lot is either soggy or holding puddles of water when it is dry and it will all be soggy today. But better than the weather my family is having in Calgary.

We got 6 inches of snow that is now melting...some parts of Calgary got hit harder than others.

North Calgary got hammered,. The south side where my wife is right now got about one or two inches. Cold everywhere there.
