I really can't say what'isle be left after the present brain storm as trumpeted ... by whom ... Gabriel? The darker horn blower ... so last remains in a muddle ... it is just how inhumanity goes on ... primed doings? --- Dunne ...

The extent of the greatest as far as that goes ... and one askes as something goes; "what was that that went?" Perhaps an expansive soul ...

Out for a walk. Not too bad this afternoon but supposed to get worse as the day wears on.

Inch of snow this morning...stopped around noon when I headed out to do the first part of the paper deliveries.

My submission wasn't accepted :( but they said they were impressed with my artwork and hope I apply next year :)

Laundry done. Feet up. It's raining here. The vinyl tablecloth worked well to cover my laundry in the wagon while I walked down to the laundry.

I may sew today I finished a bag the other day and have another cut out. It won't be my last bag.

In sad news, a really nice guy who works at my store, I've known him for years; the Hippie was very fond of him. A Newf with a heart of gold. "Retired" last year, going down to 2-3 4-5 hr shifts a week. When Brian closes at night, he buys a multi-pack of something sweet, and makes sure everyone who is closing is offered one. Always knows a joke. Always called me "kid". He was very attached to his wife of 40 or so years. They'd planned to do some travelling. She died in her sleep, no warning at all, on Sunday night. I'm just broken hearted for him.

Our farm was near Lousana and Delburne was where our family back in the 50s did their big grocery shop. There was a company in Delburne that made some stuff for NASA a few years ago. Not sure if it is still there.

Cool! You're a local :) I have a few relatives in Elnora (one moved to Delburne 3 yrs ago)...The company moved to Red Deer 4 or 5 years ago and I'm not sure if they are still in business or not.

Sort of local. We moved to Calgary in 1952 where my dad got a job when the economy went bad for farming. We went to the farm for several summers. My last two trips to Lousana were for my uncle's funeral which I did and a family friend. The change in the highway several years ago at Delburne confused me when we came in from the north on 21. We made many fishing trips to Pine Lake.

It can be confusing for those who are unfamiliar with it but the change has made it easier.
