as long as I cover them, they are a bit itch - seems like I do have some mosquito bites too so maybe they all are and the others were just welting up funny.
 
It truly is beautiful here. We've been in the forested sites since September 9 when we got here. The sunshine is fabulous
 
Oo, that last one. The sky colour is lovely. A bit weird (and that's a compliment from me) for a sky, but lovely. Been plugging away at a new story. A fantasy about the daughter of a fallen "dark lord" who must deal with the legacy of her father and a burgeoning romance with a veteran of the army that fought against him. As I described it elsewhere, it's "some adventure, some horror, some romance, some magic, all in 6000 words."
 
largest watermelon is 2.5 lbs...one cantaloupe is squishy so might not be good...and I had the 4 lbs watermelon the niece and I picked on her birthday in August.

Some skies do look weird ;) Thanks :) Sounds like an exciting story
 
Today marks 5 MONTHS that I've been doing the daily ipad sky drawings and today's brings the total to 400 drawings!!!!! (it seems this didn't post this morning!)

Sand flies and some other small to tiny black flies leave nasty bites. There normally is a small hole in the center of the lump or bump. Some prickly plants can give me small bumps around where the thorn poked the skin. I got hard welts from poison ivy this summer and some were roundish. I still have a small welt by my nose that is almost gone.
