I don't know where you will find spaces for them, but, I spotted some plastic serving trays at the Dollar Store that might work for big plants.

@KayTheCurler you're brilliant! I'm almost ashamed to admit this but I have 4 very large foil serving trays in the yard sale - three are now under the plants Sis has a repo sale at her office and on Monday I'll see if she still has the trays I saw the other day...but for now, the plants are on trays...and they are HEAVY and it's TOO HOT to be trying to lift them.

We got rid of our heat warning for now. Sunny, 23, humidity down to sane levels. Much improved over the past week.

I'm enjoying being chilly in North Bay. I've brought out my knitted blanket to put over my lap. Quite pleasant.

And that would probably feel cooler. Smoky haze is getting worse too

We have smoke too. I wonder if we will suffer from the brightness if it ever clears? Smoky views are the new normal, I guess.

Always important for written work. I have a new story "stewing" right now. If I like it when I go back for a final edit tomorrow, it will go up on Stories Space in the next day or two.
