As I recall, about 48-72 hours. I got the shot on a Thursday, and by Sunday felt like I was just about back to 'normal'.

I had my second shot Wednesday, and thus far, nothing. My arm isn't even sore, and with the first shot, it was sore enough I couldn't sleep on it for 2-3 days.

I, too, had more soreness the first time. Only really noticeable the first night though.

Some people are better needle givers than others. My first injection was by a doctor, the second by a nurse.
I had doctors both times. The whole process was much more relaxed the second time. Lots of unfilled appointment slots at the clinic I would say.

Well, actually the clinic in Barrie was a bit slower this time than my first. But also, they had two "streams", one for appointments, which I had, and one for walk-ins.

Experience is a big factor. My pharmacist seems to be much better at it now than when I first started getting my flu shots from him.

Wish I could use C-19 vaccine as an excuse but I'm like a month past second shot now. And mine doesn't really seem physical, more of a depression. Oh well, I think I'll LAST.
