It was a challenge biking this morning (at 5:15 AM) due to the thick smoky haze...also means I can't work outside today either.

Fires are closer to me probably. The highway to our chosen Family Camp location has been closed due to fire and smoke. Not sure if any of us will head up there soon or not. Some planned to go on Sunday, the rest of us as convenient.

The local air is blue and smells like smoke, making eyes smart. Most people look like they have been in a swimming pool for many hours! Those of us with compromised lungs are coughing and wheezing.

Good morning, @BethAnne. I have a question to ask. Would be willing to give permission for me to use one of these as a header image? We have had member's photos up there before but I am not sure we have ever had paintings/drawing from members for it before. I'll probably be changing it again soon since Pride month is over (though London Pride is actually going on right now).

And are these the resolution you do them in or do you have a higher resolution version? When I am editing for the header, working from a high resolution and then cropping or downscaling works best. If these are the original resolution, then I'll just scoop one with right-click Save Image. If you have a higher resolution, I will get you to send it to me by email or something.

Sure, you can use one...these are the only/original resolution but should still work okay...will be interesting to see which one you choose :)

Eerie bike ride this morning - still doing 6K each day!!! - as the smoke was so thick but I think there was some fog too based on how damp my face was getting...I might have to turn on the furnace as the smoky haze is really keeping our temperatures low as the sun can't get through.

Wow. Wow. Wow. We're in London right now. We were at Oxford and Hyde Park to do something so we decided to go across Fanshawe Park Rd (is Park still even in the name?) to get to where we need to go. What a difference since we LAST drove on this route. The village of Hyde Park is no longer a village. London must extend north to Arva. Wow.

Still Fanshawe Park Rd. Highway 22 got downloaded, though, so the name changes when you leave London and enter the county (in fact, it changes a couple times, I think. Haven't gone West that way in a while.).

And London is almost at Arva but has never annexed it so stops just shy of it for now. Arva is still politically in North Middlesex or something like that. It is actually annoying now because you leave the north boundary of London and the speed limit rises to 80, then drops back to 60 almost right away when you hit Arva (this is going up Richmond of course).

And, yeah, the growth out Hyde Park way has been phenomenal, esp. since they built the power centre at Hyde Park and Fanshawe.
