And Santa being a Time Lord would explain a lot...

I mean, hitting every household with children in one night goes a whole lot easier if your transportation moves through time as well as space.

This year's Christmas story in the greeting insert is excerpts from L. Frank Baum's book about the life and times of Santa Claus...I had forgotten a lot of the story - though that is where most of our traditions came about.
