Wow. What are these rain barrels made of? My garbage can and blue boxes blow around but something called a "barrel" is usually heavier than that. Must have been quite a wind.

P3 is right - it's plastic and completely empty as we didn't get any rain yet - though the skies have threatened the LAST 2 days

Actually, now I think I know the type you mean. I've seen them in the odd yard around here. It's grey here and the forecast calls for periods of rain but we haven't had much yet.

I did it!!!! I went for a bike ride!!!! I'd forgotten how much fun biking is (I used to bike all the time as a teen and in my 20s)...and I'd forgotten that Mirror is uphill both ways I did the full 3 km loop and my legs were so weak and wobbly, I almost wasn't able to go up the steps to get into the house...but I did the full 3 kms!!!!!!!

Made pineapple ice cream (with coconut) and put in mini muffin tins instead of ice cube trays Also made a loaf of "keto" bread with nut flour

Today when I was out for my walk, I noticed that the daffodils are lasting a long time this spring. I saw a clump of miniature yellow ones. And a clump of regular sized ones that were such a pale yellow they were almost white. So pretty!

I thought about posting this story on the Room thread but I brought it here instead for obvious reasons.
