That it is snowing in Feb (and before the 2nd) isn't unusual...what is, is that there was no snow at all in the weather forecast for today

I should try doing something like that sometime. The writing competitions on my one writing site are usually longer than that, often 4-6 weeks, so 5 days would be an interesting challenge. I finish in the top ten maybe once every 3-4 years. Never won anything (yet).

We're enjoying some sunshine after record amounts of rain in the last day or two. There is flooding in the area causing problems with roads and travel. We're fine here.
