The egg pizza does not appeal to me but I don't like runny fried eggs. I always hard cook the yolks.

Would you eat this particular pizza for breakfast or dinner, do you suppose?

LAST

I love runny fried eggs, but don't really see their point on a pizza. And it's not that I only do a traditional pizza. One of my favourite homemades is simply very thinly slices potatoes, fresh rosemary, salt, olive oil.

LAST after over-seeing a largely pointless cardiology appointment this a.m.

LAST...leave in about an hour to get the oil changed in my car so it's done before the deliveries on Thurs...then I'll have to figure out how to get my snow tires on!

I take mine to my local 'tire guys' or maybe just the Jiffy Lube if I'm due for an oil change anyway, having bribed some sort of hefty-person to put the other season tires in the back seat. LAST as BA figures out what kind of combination of virtual and cash based compensation is going to be required to accomplish this necessary Canadian car-owner's job. Sometimes it's just beer.

My brother-in-law usually does for free but he's got a bad shoulder right now so we're waiting to hear if he can still work or not.

Today it rained. Always sensitive to the meaning of such a thing, I realized for the first time what it must mean to live in the misery of western Canada.

That is one responsibility that I would so love to give up. I make do. I trust the guy who runs the local Jiffy Lube and some of his key staff to check over stuff and alert me to potential trouble. I have a very good mechanic, quite a distance away unfortunately, whose opinion of the vehicle I absolutely trust. But I'd still love to give away the job to another person, preferably a man. Not going to be the old guy, *sigh*...he's a really, really, really "not car" type of guy.

I love driving cars, but would rather leave the mechanical stuff to others. Fortunately, there is a good, reliable, relatively inexpensive garage walking distance from work, and right next door to my former UU church.

Not unusual to get snow on or about Halloween here. Lost plenty of gloves while taking them out when they were small. "I don't need anything on my hands, Mom! Doesn't go with my costume"...a little later..."You take one of her [Mom's] gloves; I'll wear the other."
