Hubby drove me to that medical appointment and picked me up after. LAST appointment this week. The roads in town were bad but I heard that the highway was good. I hope this goes away so the kids and parents can enjoy walking the neighbourhoods on Halloween.

LAST after a morning of getting caught up on a few things. Off for coffee with a friend in the afternoon.

Lunchtime here. Also, for about the fourth year in a row, my car has snow tires on it before any major snow has happened. When did I get so sensible????

Still a bit early for snows here but maybe as we move into November.

Fort St John got record amounts of snow this week. It won't last yet. A lasting snow could fall anytime now. End of October/beginning of November is typical. We feel lucky if it goes into December before winter hits.

They say we're supposed to have a particularly harsh winter. "They" being the Farmers Almanac and the like. I suppose we're due, because the last couple of winters haven't been too bad.

Yes, winter is getting old for us here......

Be prepared for snow Jobs at any time ... tis kohl to have been given this sense of cognizance of variance ... but some lack it and thus the song Liberty Valence ... and passions are fickle about where they go when out of thought ... even atoms respond in jumps ...

"The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" is a great classic movie.

Niece put polish on my fingernails - third time ever for her and she's improved dramatically from previous two...we watched "Lion King" - told her "Lion King 2" would make more sense if she watched LK1...she just left to carve pumpkins at the Legion and I'm off to rest so I'm not too tired for tonight's concert.
