Knitting requires too much concentration so that's why I didn't...too bad, I probably wouldn't have missed anything.

I always knit while watching TV. Some programs require simpler, mindless projects. Some are okay with a bit more thought involved in knitting. Game of Thrones is not a show to knit with. Flip or Flop is.
Mr Northwind and I were talking retirement planning by the campfire tonight. Spending a month on the road totally ruined this working every day thing. I'm happy to report we're on the same page.

I'm almost - but not quite - at the point of being able to knit or crochet and not having to focus solely on what my hands are doing...I make mistakes, even with simple mindless projects, if I take my eyes off my work.

We use an online translator some times, but it isn't as quick as we'd like.

I can still get mixed up even with stitch markers.Stitch markers help a lot for knitting while watching TV. They're like speed bumps.
