This is probably our last weekend in the fifth wheel for the season. :( It is a dreary day. We've been out for a bit and are now sitting inside listening to the radio. I'm working on a throw I'm knitting for a coworker who is on medical leave. I may have to knit throws for our trailer too. I like this pattern. I do get bored with it though..... It will be worth it in the end.

I agree. I like cables. This is a nice rib pattern. It just continues on. And on.
What about my K2/P2 rib for 35 inches!?!?!?!?!? I must say I like a challenge but there is no way I'd have finished this dress if I had followed the pattern - was supposed to make it in panels and then sew together, I adapted it so I could knit it in the round in one piece.

Whew. Three hours of yard work today. Trimmed two bushes, bundled the branches for yard waste pick up, cut and trimmed the lawn. Probably other stuff I am forgetting about.

Off to watch a DVD on Adventist beliefs the guy who helps me with deliveries gave me...I'll watch the whole thing 90 mins) so I can say I did but 5 mins in and I'm not impressed by anything said yet.

20 mins in...King James is the ONLY Bible...they are "Christians" the rest of us are Protestants...Trump has started a process that will lead to the Christians "going home" soon.

Now the speaker is talking about the Catholic/Lutheran move to unity LAST year and how it isn't sound doctrine or Godly.

My husbands boss is Adventist. My husband started reading books his boss gave him. I let him know I would not be converting if thats what he was thinking. He wasn't. He was just getting information. :)

Presenter is a former Catholic who converted...he's very negative against the Catholics, and made the statement that Adventists are more true to Luther than Lutherans. (I've watched 53 mins now)

Lutherans differ even amongst themselves. That's why there are so many Lutheran denominations. For example, here in Canada there is the LCC and the ELCIC. The former, I feel, holds closer to the teachings of Luther than does the latter.

1 hour and 7 minutes watched...this is supposed to be used to convert people (in particular Catholics and Lutherans) to the Adventist faith but I would think it would turn them off more than appeal with the tone used.

When the agreement for unity is signed between the Catholics and Lutherans on Oct. 31, 2017 that will be the beginning of the end of the world and we'll (sorry, only the Adventists) will be going home.

I could have used that LAST hour and a half to do something better.
