Ah, yes, BethAnne. I remember the pleasures of a cottage in the Mountains. Mine was a log cabin on a lake.And yes, I do remember the pleasures of an evening with a good book.
For your purposes, you would want an A frame. But you could buy a lot and, in the interim, get a used, small trailer. In summer at least, that would do. And used, small trailers are pretty cheap.
 
How much energy to get to the getaway ... keep gathering ... as gravitas knows ...

With enough interest one could use the accruing sense ... and gather ...

I came on to WC this morning to find 31 alerts. Turns out they were mostly one member in one thread. Mostly liking my posts.......

I think that thread might have a LAST post before this one. :)

This may go on indefinitely ... unless you have BS on in determinate goings on ... tis fecundity personified ... ripe for expansion ... a mental blast as head Cana ...

Wow. My personal best so far has been 14 alerts.

If you took one person off my alert list I think I would have only had about 5 alerts. 10 at the most.

Alerting circustances may be upstanding or just strange ET's in some traditions ... many of these strange t'us ... for all we know as humans ... wildly flawed in some perspectives ...

I turned off getting alerts for likes. Too dang many of them and not really that informative, TBH. What I really want to know is replies and mentions, which are things I might need to respond to. I'm not really too concerned about who is liking me.

I'm going to have to go look at the settings again.......usually it's not an issue. 20+ alerts for likes is a little much.
 
I just changed my preferences. :) All good now.

I can't believe our local folk festival starts tomorrow! It will be a busy weekend with lots of music. Home County Folk festival used to be my favourite. After LAST year, I'd say that Bear Creek Folk Festival is my new favourite. To be confirmed on the weekend.

I've been told that O' so many times ... even told I was going to hell when only 5 or 6 years old ...

It lighted a spark in the darker side of my mine ... that psychological tunnel that must be explored ... few understand human thinking as critical ... but one should have a bit ...

I've been told numerous time to forget thoughts and follow the desires ... at that I observed great pain by at least half of those denied ... a complex mediation!

Perhaps I'm de via 'ted ... or just a dirty dervish ... so many grits to wash ....
 
BethAnne, beware. Don't buy that house in the ad. I mean, you want a place with, you know, space to let your spirit run loose.
That one is just a typical, Alberta shack. Probably hasn't had the windows washed for ages.
 
I don't want to buy it - unless a caretaker comes with ;) - but I would like to tour it...just out of curiosity.

Papers delivered and groceries bought and we were home at 2:45! I also picked up some painting and knitting supplies along the way.

@Northwind thanks...it sure has been a long process thus far...I am getting healthier but we still haven't found the trigger/cause.
