Today, the President is, apparently, but I'm supposed to bring a food bank donation, I think. Morning nap? I suppose that would be nice (Lucy and I having been down at the lake at 6 a.m.), but after two coffees (it was cool down there), I think I'm up at least until mid-afternoon, so I'll take over LAST again.

Time zones, you know I hate 'em. We are going to the Canyonlands (US Southwest) for our vacation. We land in Vegas (Pacific Daylight Time), drive through and spend time in Arizona (Mountain Time but doesn't go on DST so effectively in PDT right now), Utah (Mountain Daylight Time), and lands controlled by the Navajo First Nation (Mountain Daylight Time) but the Hopi First Nation are in part of that territory and they follow Arizona's time (though I don't think we are spending any time in the Hopi territory, just passing by).

I was trying to sort this out for Mrs. M about 10pm last night when I should have been winding down for bed so it tired me out, too. Or would have if I hadn't already been getting there.

Makeover Day 1: lash gal was late and then didn't have what she needed so had to drive back to Stettler (1/2 hr away) to get it so today's plan changed...i got my teeth whitened, my brows waxed and tinted, armpits waxed, and new eyelashes...looking forward to Day 2!

Yes, much slower re-growth. Also, I think it can weaken the hair follicles. Hair on my legs is permanently gone after a couple of years of waxing.

I was doing the laser last year so the hair would stop growing so I don't need to shave any more - alas, I am quite hairy (except for my eyelashes) so we've only thinned at this point...hopefully the waxing will help.
