I, on the other hand, have just strolled for an hour in a monster park across the street that is mostly virgin wilderness. I rarely see another person. The sky was blue. The temperature was ideal for walking with no need for additional clothes. And I thought (just to encourage jae) that Alberta must be just like this.
On the bad side, a couple of white sharks have been spotted off my favourite beach.

Such is the rye case as Running Bear! Moncton is a nice little place to some people from TO ... and thus toe'd out of sight!

Such con descendant comments on wee places ...

My bedroom window is just around the corner from the downspout so get to listen to the rain...when we're in our solarium it is like being behind a waterfall when it is raining.

I have a door that opens to my backyard instead of a window in my bedroom. It is nice to listen to the rain, although sometimes it sends me scurrying outside to retrieve/cover something I remember being in the middle of.

Really, BettetheRed....why don't you and BethAnne put up neon signs?

I lived with my mother as a caregiver in her declining years. I had a bed-sitting room in the basement at the time, accessible by the back door stairs. As mom and I negotiated the terms under which I would move in with her, I indicated that my old guy would visit and stay the night occasionally, to which she replied that I'd better put a red light bulb in the fixture outside of the back door. I learned to ignore such comments...
