No offense, but I'm a bit tired of that statement. Every time I ask someone at work how they are, I get the "busy spiel". Most of the time I don't have the heart to ask them if they're actually accomplishing anything useful.

LAST with that bit of unpleasantness temporarily out of my system. It is Friday, there is wine...

Doing nothing is one of the most intense activities ... for thoughts are hard to dispose of and rearrange except when the bode an side is out of it! The physical body appears to be disposed towards emotional activity ... especially when fully spirited ... the heat is on ... some alternate numbing is an assist ... whine, virtue, or po' et'IX is good.

There was a time when women were happy in the kitchen, and humbly grateful to the man who provided them with one.
A woman's productive work is to cook, say, ribs for her provider. He doesn't ask for her recipe because cooking is not his role. Similarly, a woman should not ask of a man questions whose answers are above her.

Do not mess with the area where a woman cooks ... things up! Resembles nothing, or where something is devoid ...

So an astrologer calls from San Francisco. Sounds like the start of a joke, but it's not. A woman with a Chinese accent calls from Area Code 415 (San Francisco) at 8:30 on a Saturday morning (even more bizarre - that's 5:30 for her) and says "Mr. Steven Davis, our astrologers have good news for you. It just take a credit card to find out what you have to know." Actually, it doesn't take a credit card. I already know what I have to know. What I have to know is that there's some scam artist in San Francisco who has my name and phone number and who now wants my credit card number. I don't have to know anything else! And since they know who I am it probably won't be the LAST call I get!

Ugh. It's Chinese New Year so probably some kind of astrology scam targetting that occasion. Would be nice if we could have a global system for blocking these things instead of relying on national bodies that don't have jurisdiction outside their borders.

Many people say, "Happy Chinese New Year." However, Lunar New Year is not exclusively Chinese.

Just popped in to say _Happy_Lunar_New_Year_! to one and all.

Or we could say "Happy Non-Gregorian Calendar New Year"... Also, LAST, wondering impatiently when Graeme is going to deliver that cup of tea I requested. Hot, black, medium-steep, lemon wedge on the side.

Could be a long wait...it's been years we've been waiting for the meal he promised us.

Avoidance is a great rule (roue) ... when on considers the choices fight or take flight ... thus sol full angels go ... singularities?

All at once now: "Bo!" A word inciting chaos ...

This 4,000 piece puzzle is one of those older ones where a single piece can fit in half a dozen places and you have to figure out which place it goes and the pieces are mostly solid colours (sky or ground).
