That's weird Jae. Peace is traditionally the second sunday-and the advent candle is a different colour. We are doing a series on labour and birth and so today was mystery.

We always did a pink candle for third Sunday of Joy. The story is:

The minister asked a little girl why the candle was pink on the third Sunday.

She replied, "We were hoping for a girl."

Blessings to all.

All our candles are white.

Everybody is at least partly Scottish. Their women were notoriously wild - partly because their Scottish husbands spent all their time checking their ancestry and making up stories about Scottish history.
I am preparing for a move, and have decided to give my sons my mess kit (kilt, stockings, jacket) as a captain-lieutenant of the 78th Fraser Highlanders regiment. Tough on you if you never saw me in it.
By the way, large numbers of French are also gaels. And the pipes can be heard in many parts of Normandy.

There are two types of people in the world - - the Irish and those who wish they were Irish.

Or so I was often told when I was growing up.
