Cool. I'm not in anything exciting personally but I have an ancestor from my paternal grandmother's line and his brother in the Waterloo County Hall of Fame. Ancestor was a doctor who served as coroner and on council. Brother was crown attorney. Actually, I think Grandma's father is in there, too. He was a hardware merchant.I was looking up some Stampede history yesterday and discovered I'm in the Glenbow (western heritage) Museum in Calgary! Wow!

The doctor and lawyer I mentioned came from a UEL line. Their grandfather (I think) originally settled in Massachusetts then the family moved up to NS as Loyalists before finally settling in Ontario.They were United Empire Loyalists
