Your niece is getting so big!

Miserable day here. Damp and drizzly. Dog's had her afternoon walk, they're about to have "Christmas dinner", which is exactly the same as any other day's dinner, except I may put a liver chip or two on top of Lucy's supper, then I'm ordering "Chinese food" (@Mendalla, you'd be horrified) for a supper which I am going to enjoy with my son over Facetime.

Indeed. In my mind she's a little kid but that goes back to when we started, I guess.

Meh, we like some of the Americanized stuff, too. We had bento boxes and tempura from a favorite Japanese place last night. For dine in they are "all you can eat" and when I went in to get the food, there was a cute robot trundling around helping serve the tables. Haven't seen it before but we've only been using them for takeout during the pandemic so could have just missed it before.

She's really grown a lot in the past 2 years - she only 11 but it won't be must longer before she's taller than her mom...and she WAS quite little when I let her "type" on my computer

working on a crochet project...in the time I've spent redoing and redoing and redoing the one section, I could have had the whole thing done but it seems there is a typo in the pattern instructions so that's why I couldn't get it to work As @Northwind says - swearing has been involved
