Got W7 on the desktop ... and it works far better than the versions we've tried on the laptop ... nowhere near the number of crashes, infections etc.

I get tired of the thing shutting down spontaneously in the middle of something ...

I hope it lasts ...
 
When I first downloaded Windows 10, that happened a bit, the sudden updating in the middle of what I was doing. One of the reasons I miss 7. It hasn't happened recently, but I still don't trust 10 completely.

This laptop seems to interrupt constantly ... supporting voids and last things!

There are some issues with using 10 in the corporate world so we've been using 8.1 with an add-on that restores a "Classic" Start Menu. We will likely finally bite the bullet next fiscal year since MS isn't supporting any version of Windows except 10 on the latest line of processors from Intel (who still make the vast majority of processors used in desktop and laptop PCs).
 
Okay...this was Monday morning when we started...before...

Yesterday was an unusual nightmare for the salon gal...bridal party booked and bride called Wed to cancel three bridesmaids (we're still not sure if they just took off or she kicked them out of the wedding), then she shows up at the salon Thurs with 2 extra girls and some guys...also, a family showed up for cuts and only adults scheduled but they wanted all the kids (4 or 5) cut too...and she had a whole group of women walk in wanting to buy clothes (she also sells clothing from her sister's store in Lacombe) so I spent a lot of time sitting and waiting as she tried to keep things organized and the actual booked appointments happening around the madness. So I was there 7 hrs which made for a long day...hair gal gave me a spiral perm...makeup and photos completed the day - I got 4 free outfits as part of the package and I bought an outfit...then they took me to the bar down the street for a celebration drink and to show me off - not many recognized me. :)

I stopped at sis's on way home to show niece...her reaction: OH MY GOODNESS! So I asked her if it was good or bad and she said VERY GOOD

Mom said I don't look like me at all - I modeled the outfits which she liked and showed her the pics and she said I don't look like myself at all.

I feel tired this morning but it was fun...rest of pics coming
 
Wow you are looking pretty glam there. I like the outfit you bought. It suits you. I like the poncho you're wearing in the before shot too.
