Jimmy Kimmel's brief suspension ends tonight. Reasons why he was suspended, and why the suspension is ending? What do you think about his returning to the airwaves?
 
Powers hate questions ... but then some curiosities rise about decisions that incarnate without a touché of reason ... pure will? Golden touché and then we're out of here ... with a bit of needling about the "hates" in life ...

Some of us would love to get away from these cruel desires of those grabbing, etc. putzes? What do they know ... nothing? Empty skulls ... where's the content ?

Sacred and buried some say and other deny what's buried and Gnostic ... below the physical horizon ...

Then my ringers tell me I'm stupid ... so I really can't say it straight up ... they'd never understand! Complex or anarchy ...
 
I'm glad he's returning. Disney took a big financial hit because of their decision to axe him. It shows that protest can pay off.

It's nuts that he was censored while Brian Kilmead kept his job and didn't get flak for saying homeless people should get lethal injections.

Yet stupidity seems to pay best according to Pede Prin and Rooster Cockburn ... one just needs to be an overbearing Maan ... the shadow is enough ...
 
I’m glad. It’ll be interesting to hear what he jokes about now. I hope he doesn’t have to censor himself as part of an agreement. Meanwhile Colbert’s already fired - staying until the end of the season - so he’s saying whatever he wants. Even reviving his old character (which was a parody of the worst right wing pundits). Apparently he got in trouble from his network for that a few years ago but now he’s doing it anyway. Rebel rich white guys lol. Thing is - they’ll be fine - still live comfortable lives if they’re fired. They’ll do something else. Their staff and writers less fine. And free speech is what’s ultimately harmed.
Hollywood has a lot of collective power - voices and money - if they use it properly. Many wouldn’t be where they are without free speech and Kimmel reminded them of that - and they showed up.

Apparently Kimmel has a contract where he can say what he wants. :) I believe they caved because Disney lost a ton of money in response.

Colbert's network already took the money. He will land on his feet. His voice won't be silenced.
 
I saw someone wearing a “Disney” logo on the back of their shirt yesterday and I wondered if it was political (from the right) or they just weren’t thinking about it. Then again there’s lots of Disney character shirts around. This was just the word Disney in white on a black shirt. It’s probably that they wear it a lot and aren’t even aware or don’t care about this issue.
Mark Ruffalo said “Disney doesn’t want to be the company that breaks America.” …because it’s such an American icon.

He’s going to get good ratings tonight wherever it is aired. That might make them change their minds, if more people purposely tune in even if they don’t always. I don’t have cable so I see it online later anyway.
 
I signed up for YouTube tv only to find out it isn’t available in Canada and I can’t seem to find where else I might be able to watch it. I don’t want to keep signing up for “free” subscriptions and forget about them in a few months and be charged money (it’s happened).
 
For Disney, it would have been cancelled subscriptions.

It will be interest to see the longerm impact.

We had held; on to Disney as our only American streaming network as part of elbows up.

This was the final straw so cancelled and won't reinstate quickly
 
Sometimes I just use an URL for YouTube (no app) and do a search for Jimmy Kimmels most recent show....if I'm in bed and awake. Sometimes it's live or I have to wait 1/2 hour. I don't use the app.
 
Recall this too will pass ... nothing lasts in this world because there are always enough against things to cause ends ... that's to everything because people are so dismissive and not that encompassing ...

If they encompass something it disappears ... as in ellipses ... wee spots!
 
If I watch any of Kimmel it is usually through the Gutfeld clips.

I am glad he is back. I don't agree with censorship Period.

Break a leg Jimmy.
 
We've watched parts of the Kimmel show on YouTube the next day. I'm not sure it's available live, but that’s above my pay grade. I believe there is a Kimmel channel on YouTube
