Apologise everyone, I misquoted the Korean scripture. Here is the actual Psalm 51:17, "하나님이 원하시는 제사는상한 심령입니다.주께서는 겸손하게 뉘우치며회개하는 마음을업신여기지 않을 것입니다." (KLB)

It translates into English, using Bing Copilot, "The sacrifice God desires is a broken spirit. A humble and repentant heart, the Lord will not despise."

I really like this. God as light or celebrating the light is a feature of most if not all world faiths.

Isn't there a big light over Bethlehem, they've written songs about.

Justin Martyr was born roughly c. 100 AD in Sanarian near Bethlehem. He already attests Christian pilgrimages to the cave in Bethlehem where Jesus was born. This is striking because Luke does not tell us whether the manger was part of a house or a cave. So apparently Christians were already celebrating Jesus' birth in the first century. Joseph and Mary's stay in a cave would help explain how the shepherds found the baby Jesus after their angelic vision.
