Finding this a little offensive and I'm coming alongside with Jae, if only that he has the right to present another side. I may not agree, but calling someone an idiot for their opinion even if he chooses not to watch something, doesn't seem appropriate for discussion.

Yes, I say. As do others. Critiques are not worth the weight they are "printed" on if they only come from one side, and only agree with our own perceived biases.

That is not it ... it is the denial of anything beyond what he accepts! And I I perceive right ... he'd really like to see us all fried at the stake ... religious distaste?

Okay. I notice you didn't say anything to @Lastpointe, who chose to read only reviews on the positive side. By the way, not every critique of JCS that I've read was to the negative.

Forgot why I stopped logging on. That is the height of idiocy. If you vocalize an opinion it must be based on some facts. Not just regurgitating the latest evangelical trump loving spiel

I have no problem with someone choosing to not watch something based on reviews. We all have done that I am sure. There are books I won't read or movies I won't watch because I have read the reviews and am pretty sure I won't be interested. I would not presume to be an expert and come in to a discussion as an expert, challenging those who have actually seen the movie on their views.

If you are referring to my comment in any way, I said his opinion is worthless if he has not watched the movie. He cannot come in as an expert without having watched it. I am not for the record, calling anyone an idiot.

I believe @Lastpointe has actually seen the movie. I may be wrong on that. She is basing her opinion on having seen the movie as well as having read the reviews. I think too, she also said that most of the reviews she read were positive.
 
That was aimed at me because I did say he was an idiot for commenting on something he had not viewed

If I don’t watch something it can be for lots of reasons But having not seen it I don’t comment on it.
 
There definitely are idiots ... my mother labelled me an idiot because I wouldn't follow her fundamental law of religion ... on her terms alone ... that were somewhat narrow scoped ... as she despised all other science but the omniscient nature of her blind faith ... I found it dark there ...

I also believe there are alternate idiots ... I have had some counter this confirmed idiot (me?) of the negative type ... in relief as the word is pressed out ... the squeeze? Results in pits on the page where ink collects ...

Well then I would have been called an idiot for many things I refused to watch based on reviews, but chose to comment on. A movie called Heaven is For Real, being one. It happens.
 
Heaven is for real ... there are things that occur as incidents in space that can take your thoughts away ... some strive to retain this state AD continuum ...

If you question it you're hated and despised ... by those that believe they know as much as is needed for presence ...
 
I'd really like to see it, but being a person without cable, am unable to. I'm sure it will be available on-line fairly shortly. Have expressed interest to the old guy, which usually produces results.
