I don't hate you, jae. I question your posting of an article about feminine products as a priority, to open a thread about Environment Day. There are plenty of polluting products you could've chosen.

Well, I offered a helpful article - and was attacked by a few people for doing so. Perhaps I'll post another helpful article tonight.

My intention was to post a number of helpful articles throughout the day Kimmio.

Hard to disagree with that. This is an event which repeats again and again and again and again.

I think you are actually missing quite a bit about what is going on and while it does take two to tango you never seem to notice or even accept that you like dancing more than most.

Are you still working with a Spiritual Director? I know you are without a spiritual home at present, any fellow students you can turn to for some support while you are transitioning between congregations or denominations or even vocations? I can't imagine that more conflict is a solution to whatever stress you are experiencing in your life at present. That would be an extremely dysfunctional coping mechanism.

I didn't ask for conflict here John. Rather, people started throwing vehement words in my face after I offered a helpful article.

Well, I just posted my thoughts - and the best alternative available imo are biodegradable and disposable cotton and natural pulp products. Because it's otherwise messy business. That's reality. And why I decided to be graphic in detail - because women know why the re-usables haven't caught on. We don't use them as much because they're messy and inconvenient. We're busy. And worth noting as a debate - but it should be focused on the overuse of plastics in feminine products - not admonishing women for using disposable products. Which is how it comes across from a man who has no need for them.

It was simply the first article I saw when I searched on Google this morning.

In fact I did expect critique and insults, not from women as a group but from those on here who hate me some of whom are women. It's an innocent, helpful article yet I knew I would receive flack - because I always do.

Actually, only 3 didn't. Nicaragua stayed out because it felt Paris didn't go far enough in holding major emitters responsible and recognizing the impact climate change will have on Central America so they aren't actually a denier, just a non-supporter of that specific agreement. Syria has bigger fish to fry, to be honest. So, really, that only leaves the US as the only country holding out due to climate change denial.
