LOVE Newfoundland ... watch out at the end of the loving for Conception harbour! Fortunately, I came home from my visit there not pregnant!!

That's a LOT of snow at your 'cabin' John! It has been such a wild winter in the Maritime provinces ... somebody - maybe Rick Mercer? - was saying the Canadian map has been changed - going east there is Ontario, then Quebec, then one big snowdrift!

So glad I wasn't taking a sip of anything when that popped up at the end. Deadly funny.

Don't know if it is like that all around the place. The front is packed in. That seems pretty typical for the place in Winter. I look at it and notice all the snow I didn't have to shovel.

A young friend of mine who is currently a student at MUN is right now in Rocky Harbour - she's posted some great photos today of snowshoeing at Gros Morne ... looks wonderful!

Wow small world - an online friend lives in Rocky Harbour - her photos are pretty impressive too. It is so very beautiful there (especially in the summer).

The photos out of PEI are jaw-dropping too - one place on the Island got 86cms of snow in one day (I'm not sure if it was Sunday or Monday).

Interesting Justme - I was in Rocky Harbour last June ... when that 'delightful' blue whale was also there!
