Well do you believe that Spiritual warfare was in play in the Old Testament ------Satan was the god of this world in the Old Testament there Jaebius -----

Mr Korah was being influenced by Satan --he was showing Pride here ---verse 3 ---he was like Satan himself wanting God's position ---He may have known better ---but he was had by Satan

This shows how people who know better need to keep a watch for the Roaring lion who wants to devour you and make you rebel against God ------Pride and envy ----

Adam knew better --Eve knew better -----both were influenced by the enemy to rebel against God ----

What makes the difference is Korah knowing better should have Repented immediately and he did not ====So he reaped what he sowed ------God's Righteous Wrath ----

Korah’s Rebellion

1One day Korah son of Izhar, a descendant of Kohath son of Levi, conspired with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth, from the tribe of Reuben.

2They incited a rebellion against Moses, along with 250 other leaders of the community, all prominent members of the assembly.

3They united against Moses and Aaron and said, “You have gone too far! The whole community of Israel has been set apart by the Lord, and he is with all of us. What right do you have to act as though you are greater than the rest of the Lord’s people?”


Satan at work in the OT

1 Chronicles 21:1: Satan incites King David to take a census of Israel, bringing divine judgment upon the nation.

Numbers 22 -----
the prophet Balaam is spiritually Blinded by Satan and God opens his eyes -----

David Committed Adultery -----lust appeared ----Satan's influence ----

When the prophet Nathan confronted David about his sin (2 Samuel 12), David immediately confessed and repented.
Nathan declared that God had "put away" David's sin, sparing him from immediate death.
However, as recorded in the Bible, David still faced severe consequences, including the death of their infant son and lifelong turmoil within his family

I say -----True Christians today still have Satan influencing them in their minds ----and God tells us how to combat that -----you need to do what the word says ----

Jesus Christ's the Shepherd, unsafe. He's the Healer. The Prince of Peace. The Lord of Hosts!

When you call Him by those names, you're calling on the same Lord who conquered death and reigns forever.

I call Him Lord, and God, and King! And when I cry out JESUS, every demon trembles. Sickness bows. Storm hushes! Because all of God's names find their “Yes and Amen” in Him.

Shakespeare said what's in a name is everything of all dimensions and human power try and package it for profit ... despicable!

Then along with royalty, governing and business they hover over the common and vernacular ... outspeaking their good sense which is basic ... although really messed up by lawmakers (Pharisees) that drive the wind ...

Now but not in the Old Testament ---Jesus hadn't come yet ------Jaebius -----the Head of the serpent had full power in the Old Testament ------

Only after Jesus was Crucified was the head of the serpent Crushed -----that is for now -----you are so right there ------

But This same Serpent is still very Active in today's World ---he is not gone completely yet there --Jaebius -----

True Christians are still at risk if they don't make the Serpent FLEE From Them ----he can devour them still -----one day this Serpent will be gone for a 1.000 years ---and then released again scripture says -----:eek:

Is the soul of knowing such a lowly device ... without a leg to stand on? Yet the populace does turn on anything that speaks of kowledge and wisdom and thus the sinking of you know who!

It makes me ponder that verse of a power gaining the entire earth and losing that legless item ... story without a hanger! Poem I's oul the great rapture when the fabric rips ... common folk despise the baring of it ... and that's the truth!

The believer's authority, unsafe, is in faith.

James tells us, “Resist the devil, and he'll flee from you!”

That’s a promise.

Don’t you dare tremble at the serpent’s shadow, unsafe. Stand in the risen Lord's light.

The Spirit within you's greater than the darkness around you.

The serpent’s doom's sealed. His rage's great because his time's short.

Lift your head, unsafe! The Lamb reigns
 
If the devil is a slick mind; will it flee from excess passion ... overdone romantics can have a downfall (nemesis) folly 've logo?

Yet there are some that cannot accept that it is out there ... needing some wandering ... thus that borderline or fringe element ... strands?

What if there is more to it than simple? Monkeying around with epistemology ... it has deep roots ... that may present as mitocondria ... it is a complex coat on the matter protected inside for a spell of time ...

James 4:7, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"

What does resist mean ----it is not a willy nilly resistance ----

I've been told by serval physicians that mortal does not well understand steroids and they prescribe them too freely ... this things can get hairy due to the pro lactose sectors ... the waters get clouded ...
