LOL. You're talking to the guy who did a sermon based on Socrates (who famously taught that self-knowledge) in a Christian pulpit (and later revised it for a UU service). It was more on the "unquestioned life is not worth living" than specifically "know thyself" but the two are closely related. So the church found out in my case.I am a becoming member of the 'Know Thyself' congregation.

And to save me a post, I'll just stick this here. Maybe I don't need to say it, but this is obviously not a set scripture like the Biblical canon, but something that can grow and change with our livesIt's not a scripture given by God or enforced by some kind of canon, but a scripture shaped by our own spiritual thoughts and discoveries, by our "free and responsible search for truth and meaning", which is the 4th UU Principle.
