I am a fan of backyard farms. When I was a kid my Nana kept chickens, and the man next door bred rabbits for meat. Another close neighbour had pigeons - some of which got eaten.

Had a boss, years ago. He and his wife and kids moved out to the country. Decided on rabbits. Ended the night that X, the "big brown bunny", arrived as dinner.

Some people are repulsed by snake, lizard, etc. depends on tradition. Yet they taste like chicken ... some as boney as alewives and thus not easy to deal with unless you are pressed ...

Yet they taste like chicken

Snake does not taste like chicken. Yes, I have eaten it.

Oddly, I have not eaten rabbit, simply because I have never had the opportunity. Frankly, the damn rabbits in my yard would look quite nice dressed and on a spit.

I've eaten it too ... and maybe it was the way it was prepared ...
