Weigh everything against the Gospel of the Kingdom
Pronouns
He/Him/His
Acting in servitude to God and to each other is a choice for both elohim and mankind, but a commandment of God. Both creations have the power to decide as both were created to perform duties under the authourity of God. For example, naming the animals in Genesis was part of the creative process (not to be confused with creation) we were made for. Call it artistic skill. Of course selfishness could result if we choose to serve self instead of all, accumulating whatever pleases the selfish eye. It is rampant in the world today and clearly seen in the various leaders who see themselves as alpha humans.

Although mankind now calls it, through self-justification, a lifestyle to strive for, it is the opposite of the ways of the Kingdom and how we were originally to have lived. We each have the personal choice to right our errant ways or carry on putting self over others for what we can get in this short life but soon find it leads to a dead end, literally. If greed is your thing then go for it but don't complain when those you have oppressed in the process come out on top in the end while you are no more. theft, adulterous relationships and taking of life to name a few, are considered wrong for good reason. You've had your reward and are the creators of your own demise. There is no place for these in the Kingdom that will be established once the beta period is over.

God gave the Angels and Humans Free Will to choose -----what we humans decide to do in this life and where we go in this next life is all you to us and our Decision to Heed what the Scriptures say OR Reject it -----

We personally choose our own Spiritual demise -----no one else -----

I kind of agree with all this but do so without reference to God. Being able to live and work together in community has been a huge part of our success as a species. Choosing ourselves or our group, placing them over others and using that to justify all manner of abuses, up to and including genocide, breaks that community and generates conflict. And in this world, conflict just drives us closer and closer to collapse. So everything you say is true, but I think I view it more as social and evolutionary karma than as the judgement of a personal deity.

The fact is, religious doctrine (e.g. the Doctrine of Discovery) has played a big role in creating our current mess. So God alone isn't the answer, it's viewing God and God's Will in a different way than has been done so far (and by "so far", I mean since Constantine, not just the modern church). And a recognition that no one school of thought or tradition has a lock on being moral and concerned about the state of the world so that dialogue about the issues needs to happen, not just preaching. The secular humanist UUs I know have done as much, if not far more, about the "errant ways" than a lot of Christians I know.

Do you know if the people you’re preaching to right now are greedy or are you assuming?

All fail to love all as self.
Including you?

It’s not hard to see that the world and we the people needs improving. We can only try our best from where we’re at.

What does it look like to you in reality? A day in the life of various people for instance?

(Btw mods I posted and my edit disappeared. Had to write it again.)

As long as it follows the will of what created you.
And if nothing created me other than an impersonal universe driven by physics? If values are derived from understanding that we exist in relationship to other beings, both living and not, and need to maintain healthy relationships in order to survive? Because that's kind of the space that I am in right now.

Is a part of the autonomous cosmos ... the mortals that live within it in such a tight position that they cannot separate the larger thoughts form the minor self's compilations?

Thus one part of us feels like it is confined between four walls as if in a box ... where they cannot see the blue top, or the green bottom that may be mossy! There co existing with a great deal of other stuff of interest to those that study mortal parts for re assembly. The putting these strange components together is often mind blowing like some relations do incarnate (that's like a seeming screw-up).

Ever prejudice a screw-up as a wuthering what's-it? This is a psyche-separating process ... leading to the scripting of Schutz ... and the shuttling operation ...

It too can have its up and downs as well in lefties and righteous sides ... all between to 2 Alves ... at the bottom of the legs ... one of which Ahab was searching ... as the cause of meditated hostility. You cannot observe this when too close to the case ... the skin of a Wahl-newt ...

Strip away the God-relationship, and Jesus remains a striking exemplar of an individuated person.

His self-possession allowed radical other-regard.

His love was not needy, not performative, not parasitic.

It was generous precisely because his sense of self was intact and integrated.

The observable human reality of Jesus shows that a well-individuated self is fertile soil for love overflowing.

Whether one frames the source as divine, existential, or purely psychological.

Then there are those that say pass-over ... as they feel it is something better to skip! Like such knowledge is detrimental to the risers ... sometimes like snakes ready to strike at anything due to fear of being without a leg to stand upon ... may apply to those with only 1 leg as well when they are not!

To a fluid mind this is attributable ...
