See, I am almost the opposite. We, and any other life in the universe (including alleged aliens), are very much a part of the universe, complex arrangements of matter and energy capable of things like reproduction and (whatever it means) consciousness. For me, being spiritual isn't about a separate reality but about being able to exist in and reflect on our relationships (note the plural) to the rest of reality. The physical, mental, and spiritual are an integrated whole and we are not alien to the universe, but inseparably part of it.

TLDR would be that the body and its physical experiences matter as much as the mind and soul to being alive and human.

As to whether there is life on other planets, we simply do not know. So far, no evidence of life on the other planets of our solar system has been found.

Considering the nearness of the end times, it is unlikely that man will progress far enough to visit other galaxies before the Lord’s return. Wherever life exists or doesn’t exist, God is still the Creator and Controller of all things, and all things were made for His glory.

There's definitely suggestive circumstantial evidence though. Molecules that we know played a role in life here on Earth being found on other planets or in the asteroids and that sort of thing. I'm not ruling out us finding it in my lifetime. The fact is that in a 13.5 billion year old universe containing billions or trillions of stars and associated planets, it seems very improbable that the molecular processes that created life here only happened once.

Now, whether that life advanced to the point of technologically capable intelligence elsewhere is a whole other question. We could have billions of worlds with microbial or simple multicellular life and still have only hundreds or thousands with life that reaches the level of complexity we have seen here on Earth. So in Earth terms, protozoa, fungi, cnidaria (jellyfish and anemones), and such but no fish, dinosaurs, or mammals.

The very concept of consciousness is troublesome to a person without an open manner of emotional intelligence (heart-mind couple as metaphor)!

Perhaps they fail or have folly in that portion of the life journey ... implications? I do not believe we know much of this frontier. Maybe something worth study but difficult being of subtle nature. We I pose anything of a curiosity in this scheme ... I note people seem to back away ... now that's strange to me ... like an autonomous neural system related to genes and endocrines.

In my work with water related concerns ... it appeared people would try and avoid the topic ... some strange reactions nonetheless ... what is it raises this paranoia ...

That may be at the heart of my problem with Christianity, that it claims knowledge it can't demonstrate and indeed flies in the face of what we do know. So we have these self-important fools in funny hats running around talking about UFOs and demons, and then the everyday nutcases threatening a hypothetical hell on those who disagree with them, all cocksure of themselves while having absolutely nothing to back up what they are insisting.

If the truth is out there, it hasn't been found by these scam artists.

Oh, for sure. I mean, it wasn't that long ago that people still held that the Earth was the center of a very small universe. There was logic to that at the time but it certainly also appealed to human ego, which is why it hung after logic and reason were already showing other options that, in the end, turned out to be correct. Now, the idea that life is unique to the Earth is becoming a kind of modern version of putting Earth at the center. The more we learn about other worlds, the more likely it seems that extraterrestrial, extrasolar life will be found somewhere, someday but there's still some who find this need to make US a unique event.

But are UFOs that extraterrestrial, extrasolar life? No. Or at least highly unlikely. Because until someone actually does find a version of special relativity that allows faster than light travel without time travel and its resultant paradoxes, interstellar travel is basically impossible on anything less than the scale of centuries. If UFOs are space travellers (and I don't think they are, personally), they've would either have a generation ship parked somewhere nearby or have to come from very close by, probably under 50 light years.
