Thank you all so much. It's a first for me. In High School I could get good enough grades without too much work and unfortunately that's what I did. I didn't push myself like I should have. Even in college the first time the effort was inconsistent. Now I'm older and I realize how important it is and I'm being a lot more strict with myself.

May I have my son talk to you? This sounds rather like him.

I know it's been a while. When I have both work and school it's hard to find time. Anyway I finished my third class and got a 99. I start another one tomorrow. Here's hoping it goes well too.

Congratulations Jon!

Is strict learning, or imposed absence of mined ... a hollow graph or the intent of terrorism from all sides of the physical study?

Report on your feelings about the suggested ignorance of the tree of knowledge ... hidden behind the masque of epistemology!

Is that weird in a religion of wisdom ... or something of the sol lost?

I know I don't get here a lot but I'm finally not struggling to keep up with school so I thought I'd come by. School is going well, I've got four As in four classes and I think my fifth one is off to a good start. It's just been busy is all. In addition to school and work my wife broke her foot in almost the exact same place she broke it a year ago. She's wearing the same boot and luckily doesn't need surgery. Also my grandfather died last week and the funeral was last Saturday. He was in his late 80's and had the assurance of Heaven. He actually was an ordained minister. I hope everyone here is doing well.

Hi Jon - I'm glad you drop by when you can to tell us what you've been up to - I always read your posts with interest. Sorry to hear about your wife's foot - must be painful. And condolences on the death of your grandfather ... I image he would have lots of good stories to tell, having lived a long life. Good work with your schooling - that's a big accomplishment!! Take care.

I really should make it back more often. It seems that when I have both work and school at the same time I have so little time really so I make it in my weeks between classes. I got another A, a 100 in fact, in my fifth class. I start another in about a week and I'll start in my concentration then, higher education. Kelly is managing fine. She's still in her boot but maybe not for much longer. I'm not sure what all to add. I hope everyone is well.

Good to hear from you again, Jon. Congrats once again. You sound like you're an excellent student. Wish Kelly a speedy recovery.

I know I just keep popping in between classes but I've finished one and officially start another tomorrow. I got another A, so that's 6 for 6. The next class is on "action research" so it may be a little different. That worries me, but I'll just do my best to stay on top of it.

Well done once again jon71! Another A :-) I'm sure you'll do fine in your next class ... you've been thriving so far!

Great news. Keep it up. I'll be citing you as encouragement for Little M. :D

Well, I was worried about this last class but I made it. I got a 96. The next one is sort of a continuation of it. I am supposed to conduct the action research project I developed in the last class, in this next one. Basically I'm going to give my daughter a civics test. There's more to it, but that's the heart of it. Hopefully it'll work alright. I'm more than halfway through now, if things stay on track I'll graduate next June. My wife also passed a very difficult science class. Too late for her, they broke it up into 3 classes because it was so massive. She did great and is now starting on her concentration, Elementary Education. She's excited about that. I hope everyone is well.

Elementary education a hard line to cross without ankh ... once going ... the progress ensues ...

Sometimes a bum kick from a mule called Midnight assists ... gets one beyond the singular point of rest ...

Well, I got another A. I think this is it as far as Educational Research goes. My current class is curriculum for adult learners, so I'm glad to have something a little more conventional. It's hard to believe how far I've come. After this class I only have 3 more and I should graduate in June.

Woohoo! Graduation is on the horizon! That's a great accomplishment Jon71 - you will be reaping rewards from your hard work & persistence.
