Are suffering and the awareness of death necessary for meaning?

Our homes and the things we surround ourselves with, even our very lives, will ultimately be taken from us, whatever we do and whoever we are.

Are we meant to aim higher?
How can we aim higher ?

Death will come whether we aim higher or lower -----

and we choose our destination -----God has given us free choice ---

And Live eternally with God -----

Here is the thing folks ======

Something to Ponder -----Food for thought

Whatever your Exposing yourself to through your Eye gate ---your Ear gate and your Mouth gate----Will Determine
Your way of thinking
Your way of Thinking will determine the way you Feel
How you Feel will determine the Decisions you Make
The Decisions you make will Determine the Actions you Take
The Action you take will Determine your formed Habits
Your formed Habits will Determine your Character
Your Character will Determine your Destination -----

So if you don't like your Destination ----change your Character
If you don't like your Character --Change your habits
If you don't like your Habits ---Change your Actions
If you don't like your Actions ---Change your Decisions
If you don't like your Decisions ----Change your way of Thinking
If you don't like your Thinking ---Change the way you Feel
If you don't like the way you Feel ----Change what your Exposing yourself to through your eye gate ---ear gate and mouth gate -----

Alas greatest powers don't like thought, process, wisdom and reverent behaviour ... thus the alter ... the concern that is ova us ... many wouldn't have any!

Is that ignorant to bring it to a point for probing? A rare get ...

What exactly is alert when the powers would rather you be rather stoopy feyned for the sake of unseen advantages to be taken and removed ... critical organs?

Uprights, watch-towers stem eth the flow ... eth is an interesting etude! Like poly ... a vast etude ... mon OZ! Nez what ... lux di crux ... there the enigma ... often distraught ... gut thing! Ben hadeth ...

Is it arrogant if we make claims about how other people should be? Is it wrong for some people to live for the moment? That is not how I want to live but is it wrong?

Yes! It can be seen as arrogant to assume you're always right or to dismiss others' perspectives. However, if your intention is to help and you respect their autonomy, it’s less likely to come across that way.
No! Living in the moment isn’t inherently wrong, it can bring joy and mindfulness. It only becomes an issue if it leads to harm, either to oneself or others.
And similarly, having personal preferences is not wrong, but it’s essential to respect that others have the right to live differently. Disapproval doesn’t require judgment or interference.
Having opinions about how people live isn’t inherently arrogant or wrong. What matters is how those opinions are expressed and whether they honour others' autonomy and diversity. It’s entirely okay to choose your own path without devaluing someone else’s.

Apart from ultimate accountability, morality is ultimately meaningless; that is, it is nothing more than an expression of culturally conditioned mores to help us survive and maintain social cohesion. without accountability to a loving and just God, there is no objective reason why I shouldn't selfishly exploit others if this makes me happy and I can get away with it. This brutal fact is a major reason why secular people take a leap of theistic faith to find objective meaning in life. As famed atheist and evolutionary biologist, Richard Dawkins, eloquently puts it,

"The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference."

Thus in certain piety ... yes, again that blind concern! Something mores to get over and discover what's behind it in deeper spatial modes ...

Then folk say that God is all over the place gathering ... thus needing to get out of the present to examine the past and poke into future affairs as far out in the depth of an ova head ... sometimes Nova! Always check the detailing ... Ares ohm thing be off the trodden path-EH!

Pathetic 's come 4th ... those that are blinded easily ... scudding along!

Imagine the material settling around us a religious solidity ... hard to escape it appears unless vaporized ... eve in then ... the poke remains and thus some alien chuckles ... Chuck? The word for Charles circulates in varied forms so as to baffle the stern ... that's latent ...

What's coming on? No one wishes to know ... thus the plunge of the plough ... sandwiching ... aus Tu? 11 ... out of the storm ... BPD .. a binary concern ... folk over the edge! Rapturous ... a rift in the spatial side ...

I think that contemplating on them and our experience of them can definitely be a part of a quest for meaning in our existence. I am sure the string of deaths in my family through the eighties and early nineties shaped my thinking to some degree (two grandparents, Mom, and Mom's brother). But necessary? That's harder to say. I think that absent them, how one finds meaning in the world will certainly be different but I think it would still be possible to find meaning.

That said, I can't see how a life in the universe as we know it could not be touched by death and suffering at some point. We are mortal as are all beings. Even things like stars are to a degree. So perhaps not so much necessary as inevitable.

Is looking for meaning for my life resistance to accepting existence as including randomness and lack of purpose?

I would say that if existence is random and lacking purpose (which I largely believe) then it becomes all the more important that we each find our own meaning and purpose. IOW, if life in general lacks inherent meaning and purpose, that doesn't stop us from giving our own lives meaning and purpose. But we also need to recognize that's what is happening and not try to argue our meaning and purpose is somehow inherent and must become the meaning and purpose of others.

Thus purpose incarnates beyond us ... due to the dash ... a rush to be ignorant? Thus irrationality and mad hatter as is ... hatter ass ... there are images!
