I just heard that the Anglicans have entered the 2-th century. There is now a female Archbishop of Canterbury.. My prediction is that the conservative male Bishops will forma new grouping within Anglicanism because they can.

The last time there was this much hubbub over a woman, they created the Church of England.

What will they do this time? Church of England 2.0?

Saw that. Quite exciting news, even if it likely will cause some consternation and upheaval.

Been visiting some Greek Orthodox churches and holy sites on my tour and they are almost as testosterone heavy as the RCs. Too bad because you really can't beat the Orthodox for beautiful, meaningful religious art and women could probably do some interesting things within that style.

I had one senior minister (male) tell me that thus was frightening to the existing staff and rods ... as a measure of critical nature ... up-rights? Can there be a parallel? Only in hyperbole because one-half will not have the other half ... thus dead ends!
