i guess if one looks at reality, everything is filthy, dirty...there are just varying degrees of dirt (and categories of dirt) that sombunall of us accept/don't accept/ignore (up until recently, the pollutant CO2 wasn't really on people's radar...)

one of my favourite bits of Larry Niven's fine 'survive the disaster' book, Lucifer's Hammer -- if they make it into a movie, i do hope they include the scene where the surfer in CA decides to surf the hooge wave as far as possible

i'm more towards the idea that humanity is older than orthodoxy thinks it is

taking a look at sites like Gobekli Tepe shows that there were very advanced human beings back then?

finding such strange things as human artefacts inside rock that is ancient, or strangely grooved spheres in a mine, and so forth?

heck, there's even a recent article on blood cells & tissue being found in so-called crappy fossils (these are the dregs of fossils that the scientists don't look at because they aren't high quality but are bits and pieces...and these were collecting dust in a museum and this was only found out by accident...) -- if we do 'make reality' by collapsing the wave function, THEN GET GOING, YOUNG EARTHERS! change our minds and we can be living with the dinos again! VELOCIRAPTOR HO-DOWN!!!

I think more along the line of fossels, or old stinkers in the church ... that's Paddy in Erse ... you know the linguistic of old Pix and Celts?
