Well jumped up was my grandfather's favoured expletive about what he didn't know ... stuff above and beyond ...
Questionable enigma's like the magic of being aware of the passing of life ... how does we do that?
Is creating life from dead matter as easy as doing it in? Some have BS based on such brusque behaviour patterns ...

The Temple tax was paid by Israel for the upkeep of the Temple which belonged to God ----so Jesus didn't have to pay any tax and anyone connected to Jesus is known as a son or daughter and they did not pay tax ------So Jesus didn't want stir up trouble and allow others to stumble and fall into sin by not abiding with the rules of the state -----He went along with the paying of Taxes -----Now the coin in the Fishes mouth was the right amount to pay the taxes for Jesus and Peter -----this shows that Jesus received Peter as one of His own as all true Christians are received into God's Family now by and through adoption ------
Jesus didn't want to offend so he paid the taxes ---this shows that the Greatness in the Kingdom is Serving and humility ------

Respectfully, blackbelt, it is not helpful to be posting videos without any explanation.
I watched a few minutes of this and learned the video is about Messianic Judiasm. As this represents a tangent from our discussion about Matthew, I would appreciate a new thread for this topic if you would like to talk about it further.
It might be interesting, I just did a quick search and it seems there are different strands of Messianic Judaism.

Hi unsafe, Do you get all of this from Matthew 17: 24 -27? Or is the story found in another gospel? It is a bit of a stretch but I can see the argument that Jesus had received Peter as one of his own. I don't see anything about all true Christians being adopted into the family of God.
And I am curious about how you would define "true Christian".

Nah, you are mixing your metaphors.
The angler in this house tells me it is possible for a fish to snap at a shiny object in the water. This might explain how the fish got the coin in its mouth. But wouldn't you think the fish would have just swallowed it?
