Ahhh - now I get it. In our family, when we see those holes in the clouds & sun rays beaming through it, we call that a "God Sky" - similar thing I guess.

Love animals, current only pet is a four year old Bouvier Des Flanders.
Prefer to spend time at our farm over any other place
Aiming for my first marathon in October at the Scotia Bank Marathon. Yikes!
 
Side note on Bouviers related to WW1

They were Belgian farm dogs, used for carting instead of donkeys.

Almost destroyed during the first war as they were used to pull soldiers off the battle fields as ambulance dogs

All bouviers come from few dozen survivors that the farmers bred

People still use them for carting

Mine does no carting but her self appointed job is protecting the bird feeders from squirrels
 
Our females have all been about 70 pounds but males can be 100 easily. They are about the size of a golden retriever but are non shedding.

@BethAnne - how did you choose the name for your newspaper? I've visited Chatauqua in New York State - amazing community with deep church roots.

Literally pulled it out of a hat. :) Gal who owned the paper before me had 3 choices and I happened to walk into her office the day she was going to decide what to call it, so I had the honour of picking the name from the hat...never did find out what the other 2 choices were. Based not so much on the city in NY but on the old travelling Chautauqua shows that were popular in the 1920s and 1930s in Wetern Canada.

Southern Connecticut State University - only one that allowed me to complete the degree completely online. My undergrad (BA History) was from Athabasca University.

I know some of the US schools (by reputation or via Mrs. M.'s colleagues at them) but not that one. Congratulations. Do they do some kind of online convocation or just mail you the degree? :D

According to SCSU, they are the top university after all the Ivy League ones. Mail the degree. :)

Too sick after high school grad to do campus classes, and by the time I started the MLS degree I liked distance ed as it gave me more flexibility to keep doing activities/jobs I was doing.
