Good morning all. We are back from an internment service in the Ottawa Valley. We visited with so many — family and friends. Today I plan to be quiet.
 
You have to make sure you pronounce that correctly, or people might think the Wonderbaker has been creating crap. :LOL:

I'll have crepe and some tea. Weather is moderately better. Of course it is. It's a work day. :cautious::sneaky:
 
Everyday is a job ... especially for us aliens that are mostly looked over and ignored as folk do not know of what we speak glossy? Thus it sails ...
 
After days of dryness, we had a morning of light rain followed by an afternoon of heavy rain. Great for the garden. I am tempted to put the tomatoes and beans out, but I heard we are getting single digits nights for the next two weeks.
Tomorrow a day of babysitting and 20 degrees in the pm, we will be heading for the playground with a shovel and a bucket and visit some friends after.
 
I was talking to a patient with a Christian background the other day and I usually tell them they might expect that they will set off the alarm at an airport with their new hip/ knee joint.
She started to grin and said she had a friend who believes in the rapture and supposedly when they get lifted up, all clothes will fall of them - and she just imagined all those artificial joints plopping back down to earth…
( one could extend that to fillings ,gold crowns, fake eyes, legs, glasses, hearing aids…. honestly, sounds like a big mess to me…
 
I am moving into total plant sale mode, I worked today, weeded before work, and potted up at least 20 pots of iris after work... Discovered lemon chilves this year. More grasslike than bulblike, nice sharp garlic flavour, faint lemon hint.
