she still sucks at promoting these beliefs despite tons of practice
And, really, that's not a bad thing. The scary ones are the ones who don't suck at promoting these beliefs and get rich off of them.

We don't get those here. We get unsafes, and then we used to get Berserk who was a better writer but was entirely unlikable and had all the personality of wet cardboard. He'd have been dangerous with a helping of charisma.

You see the division Jesus brought with Him right here in this Thread ---

The Conflict and Division is between Believers and Unbelievers even in Families -----
I don't see division here
I see discernment

If you want to see division, that will tend to cause you to see division?

Similar to how one likes someone will make the difference between "this person is stubborn" and "this person has strong principles" with the same person?

You have a tendency to generalize from a specific instance in our chats, to go from a specific instance to "see?? all people are this way"

Instead, sister, look at how Mendalla replied.

Try to treat each of our replies as individual and specific instances?

We here aren't big at all (community size)None of us are an example of humanity is general

Carry on!

Unsafe's version of Christianity does insist on promoting division and lifting those who believe like her above all others, including claiming better health outcomes, and I think that absolutely qualifies her version of Christianity as a cult.

She has been promoting her cult at WC for at least 15 years now? Something like that. And that's fine. But it has to be noted that she is a cult member, promoting her cult despite little to no traction gained in that time. She's stubborn, but she still sucks at promoting these beliefs despite tons of practice.
And she's as mad, quirky, crazy as the rest of us mooncalf's here :3

Personal growth is overrated...girdles are EXPENSIVE :3

I've seen her grow, adopt other people's beliefs; heck, she even incorporated one of my notions from waaaaay back

I have been blessed to have seen her admit when she was wrong; that takes character

And her clipart is F U N :3

She's part of our Family here

Do we sell fish to promote Friday ... or is that the other way around to assist a poor fisherman ... that was just out gathering what he could ... included some hard fish ... cockles and mussels? Lord what a presentation to get hung up with ... how to crack a mystery!

When all along there was nothing to it; but everyone is drawn to a rabid 'ole thing ... because you cannot see the bottom end ... it becomes a curiosity ... like deep dimensions within ... innate?

Don't get nothing started ... some are very touchy ... if you get the point ... there are implications ... then the theme of the Fisher King ... ineffable?

It is like a man losing something ... while in a tango ... finality or a just come-along that tugs?

There was a suggestion of other universes in Butler-Bass' presentation on Wednesday past ... 2 nights before Friday ... then the Hebrew break ... Sha Ba'?

Do you think more malevolence towards women of diverse varieties is happening with a coalescence (a lovely sounding word while describing a not so good thing) of different patriarchal belief systems - whether religious or esoteric or eccentric or technocratic - these days? I feel like there’s a strong undercurrent of this that is really feeding authoritarian politics and conflict, as propaganda.

"Spiritual abuse often feeds off a man’s insecurities from the social and theological pressures placed on him. The expectation to be the stereotypically dominant male is not only contrary to the humility taught in Scripture but also leaves men “with very fragile egos,”"
This, I believe is true across the board, whether theological or social. I think we're at a critical juncture with patriarchy in the west. The part personally most frustrating is that there seems to be little will to evolve into our full humanity because there's a tendency for those in power to keep it, even if it means keeping others down forcibly, either by law or social constraints, or physically.

I have never understood how the sense of power derived from making someone else small can be satisfying

Be it a tidal wave or an explosion or the like, there is always a backlash that can often be more destructive. So it is when the backlash of gained freedoms becomes tyrannical in itself. It will take time for the two to settle out.

Sorry, I'm autistic and don't have a clue what you just said because it's too abstract. How would that look in real life? And how would it be "more destructive"? How would we know that? What bad things would happen?

When people take rights they often become that which oppressed them.

I am asking you to tell me what that would look like. What are the specific concerns here. Don't want to make assumptions. You mean like Israel? Or like black emancipation?

Sure, or women's rights, or kids in school being taught they have rights instead of responsibility. Christianity also. They suddenly often go from being freed to becoming tyrants.

When you say "tyranny" what do you mean as it pertains to women having the same human rights as men do?
When they start pushing their weight around as men before them did.

When they start pushing their weight around as men before them did.
How would "pushing our weight around like men) look? What would women be doing if they were pushing their weight around? I do apologize for the numerous questions, but I genuinely am interested. Are you concerned that will happen? If so, why?

Just counter bullish ness ... coming on as a mystery ... and there the process gets darker ... like Lizzie Borden's activities! Another step in the foul direction ...

There the symbolism gets really crappy ... and it flies both ways! Defines a chitz dorm ... raw phonetics! Uncultivated fertilizer ...
