And I would love to have you try my food, BethAnne.
However, my church is having a Maundy Thursday potluck (one of our longstanding traditions.)
I've decided I'll take the chickpeas and some Jamaican "Bulla" cookies as featured in the Moderator's cooking videos.
 
Sigh, my life has been a mess for a long time. :( Coming across lists with dates on them for 2002 - 2007! None should have been kept, let alone buried in miscellaneous file folders and such.
 
So...I took the banana (or applesauce) bite recipe and decided to turn it into banana cinnamon rolls as an experiment.

Those I could super get into. My german shortbread recipe (thoughtfully provided AND translated by our own Mrs. A.) uses almond flour to very yummy results.
 
I prefer the almond flour version to wheat flour shortbread - and I was raised on traditional Scottish shortbread!
 
I was putting the final item into the paper file when the whole file suddenly stopped working and now I can't open it at all! :( Looks like I will have to redo the whole thing from scratch. :( Grrrrr
 
That has to be the quickest I have ever put the paper together (even 8 pages) in my life! I was thinking I had to send it in tomorrow (thought today was Wed) so I have a day to finalize it and edit - and make sure I didn't forget anything. Whew!
