Why would Trump put the vice president of Venezuela in charge, who is made from the same cloth as Maduro? Maybe this isn't about the oil? Illicit drugs bring in more illegal revenue to Venezuela than oil does, same as Mexico, and Columbia. South America is off shore and a place that supply's the drugs to the United States without getting the blame for illegally sending it over the borders....and a corrupt Presidency ( Trump) (even previous presidents, can be bought),can act indignant by allowing drug prevention groups to do their thing and by riling up the masses by saying South American drug cartels are killing their children? All the while, a corrupt government, skims their share of the drug money off the top.
Is it possible Trump wants the power, money and control of the South American cartels by being top dog under the guise of American President...not the oil so much? Imagine the revenue that could be going into his pocket that isn't being declared or investigated.
Anyway it's just a thought, maybe a stupid one, but afterall he is a criminal at heart.

There was no plan. It's just been another distraction from Epstein.

When Trump claimed Americans would go into Venezuela, look at the faces of the people standing around him. They were mortified. That wasn't part of the conversation. Trump made that up on the spot.

They have no plan. They are f***ing idiots. In the Mar A Lago "war room"? Twitter was on the big screen. They wanted to know how the strike was being talked about more than what the strike accomplished.

The longer people talk about Epstein, the more crazy stuff he'll do. I don't know what's on the table. That seems to be up to Stephen Miller more than anyone.

Did ICE deliberately shoot an ICE 'observer' to distract from the Epstein files?

  • Bill Clinton's deposition is set for January 13, 2026.
  • Hillary Clinton's is set for January 14, 2026.
These are closed-door depositions conducted in private.

No live public access, no cameras, and no real-time streaming.

I suspect the Epstein Files might themselves be a distraction at this point.

That is not to say that they are not important - just that I doubt there will be disclosure towards any actual prosecutions.

Every thing is a distraction as the power players are accomplishing what they want to accomplish - in backroom deals - closed to the public - who are fighting with each other in the streets - which suits the backroom dealers perfectly well.

*snort* Not likely (I kind of assume you're being sarcastic). It's pretty clear this is another example of a "cop" (or close to it) abusing their power and ability to use deadly force. We need to disarm groups like that and make them cooperate with police when they think force is required, then subject the police to strict use of force rules and tough sanctions if they aren't followed. That ICE agent should end up facing charges but I'll bet it doesn't happen. Alternatively, the woman's family sues, moving the accountability to civil courts.

I think there is a flipside here. We should not be letting the Epstein files distract from other injustices happening in the US like the activities of ICE. Those are, in many ways, a more immediate emergency even if Epstein has its place in the overall corruption of this administration, too.
 
Is mutuality a distracting comprehension as two folk get it together as emotional intellect? The singularity declares; "we can't have that" so something has to go ... two parted life is thus temporal ... or time dependent!

Alas few grasped and thus dissociation occurred ... scatter?

ANd train both a helluva lot better so jumping to lethal or near lethal force is a much lower probability.
 
ICE patrols in the U.S. terrified me a dozen years ago. Now, I suspect they're even more bold due to the Orange Idiot's shinanigans.
 
Apparently the woman that was killed by ICE had just dropped her 6 year old son off at school and was on her way home, according to her husband. He also said she does not paricipate in protests.
Sooo besides the fact that she was unarmed and her licence plate was fully visible, I would say this seems to be over kill ( literally and figuratively) by the masked ICE person.
