Thanks! Not very Christmasy around here as I've been sick in bed for 3 days. Oh well, that's why there are 12 days of Christmas. And to you, too, our Lady of Last.![]()
Same here minus the bright. Grey and cloudy, for us, with a possibility of snow. Hubby is playing seasonal CD's. Grateful for the food in the house. All is calm, all is bright.
Sympathy to you. That situation really sucks.LAST, after a quiet lonely Xmas. Woke in the night to sounds of illness, Waking brought news of Christmas cancellation. Dinner might be rescheduled to Sat or Sun (I am feeling fine thus far, so suspecting food poisoning, which is quite possible, in that my diet is very limited so we don't eat the same things). But my "Christmas dinner" was ramen, because what else does one feed oneself? Took out a little steak, but not very inclined to cook it for myself.
Clearly a bit deep in self-pity land.
Major hugs for you....sigh, it sounds ruff, but it's better to get well and then celebrate, hard I know, but maybe it's just a day for a good book, good movie or looking through your albums of past Christmases for some chuckles and some nice memories of loved ones?LAST, after a quiet lonely Xmas.
