@unsafe - not saying I have faith in the above post but I did like the visuals better than yours so I thought I would throw them into the mix. I do have faith that there are no gatekeepers to prevent me experiencing what you have called the Holy Spirit - which I for lack of a better word have named Source. I remain open minded.

At times like this I wonder if United Church types, like yourself, understand that the greatest threat to your faith isn't people like me, but instead people like unsafe.

Because what I've seen, United folk are quite hostile toward atheists, and rather silent about Christian nutcases who make you look bad by association.

Or maybe we're both wrong and unsafe is right, and this God is a complete a**hole.

To do this you must have spiritual faith AND human faith. It says so. You can’t have one without the other. If you have one you have the other. If you believe you’re going to heaven, you have to believe it’s possible of anyone else, even if they don’t understand the bible the same as you do. Even if they don’t understand it at all. If you forgive you will be forgiven. If you forgive others of what you think is their poor understanding of scripture, you will be forgiven for what they think is your poor understanding of scripture.



And about that love…



I’d say we all have some work to do, on a human level.

The opposite is also true. If we only have faith that some can be saved and not others, that doesn’t help Jesus’ goals that he might save everyone - if you don’t believe it’s possible for everyone, not just for those who have the same views as you, then he died in vain. If you believe Jesus has the power to save everyone, regardless of who (not just those who are like you), then you’re helping Jesus. To have faith in others’ salvation is to have faith in your own - if you do unto others as you would do for yourself. I don't wish eternal damnation for anybody - that’s terribly unloving and to love is required - and I don’t believe in it for anybody either.
Nobody is sin free, but love is the more important thing - when we die I believe whatever is loving about our souls will be preserved.

What is loving about creating beings to experience and perpetrate cruelty, putting them through cruel trials - pitting them against each other knowing everything that will happen to them already before they do - saying it’s their fault even if it was preordained and they couldn’t change it anyway - then promising to save them from those conditions that they were placed arbitrarily into by expecting unquestioning servitude? Talk about thousands of years worth of PTSD. I don’t think that’s love. Love is about the opposite and there’s got to be a place for it. But if I can forgive that I’m simultaneously forgiving everybody, including myself, who has ever sinned under the cruel conditions of the world we were put into. That’s healing. It’s a start.

Well Show me where I decided ---I posted God's word which says how the Holy Spirit and who the Holy Spirit resides in so you can believe what you want --about me and God's word who is Jesus by the Way ----and have your belief ----and good luck with it

So this means that if your neighbour does anything really bad or is hateful to you --your child or your family --you will still serve your neighbour without malice or hard feelings ---you do it because God Loves us with all our corrupt Nature and nasty living and we are to do the same for Our neighbour ---

Love your neighbour ----once you have Accepted God and have His Agape imparted to you by and through the Holy Spirit ==only then can you serve your neighbour with unconditional Love even as they are your enemy -------Agape can Love your neighbour even as they mock you --taunt -you --hate you --throw bad names at you ---etc ---you will be able to show your them your Godly Agape and serve them as God wills us to do -----Agape your enemy

This is again Agape -----which is given to believers after they receive Jesus as their Saviour and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit -----

That’s just a description of what love is. Anyone can have this quality. The choice is to love, not to perform any ritual of belief.

This is again for the believer who has received Jesus ----to serve people through His Agape

what you did here is this out of Context and used this part to try and validate your belief that you don't need Jesus in your life to Give Him the Glory for serving others -------

This is the parable of the Sheep and the Goats --you have quoted here ----

This is when Jesus comes back for His 2nd appearance in the end times ------where he separates the believers from the unbelievers for His Judgment before He establishes the news earth ----these are the people who go through the 7 year Tribulation and some unbelievers accept salvation and some unbelievers rejected Salvation ------
